TOGETHER WE CAN....  Change generational poverty & illiteracy  Continue to award scholarships to young women (awarded 450 scholarships & counting)  Create first-generational college graduates  Ensure an at-risk teen girl graduates from high school  Empower women and children from Salvation Army transitional housing to self-sufficiency  Develop Leaders of the future through four years of mentorship in high school  Enhance the health and wellness of the Atlanta community through health fairs, summits and education

Unsung Heroines Gala General Donations Page
The Metropolitan Atlanta Chapter of the National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Inc., conceived the Unsung Heroine Awards Gala in 1997, as an opportunity to recognize African-American women. The awards are presented to women in our community who work tirelessly to empower their community in the vital areas of education, health, politics, civic responsibility, business, business and entertainment. Proceeds benefit our Economic Empowerment Programs, that provide transitional support services to women and children.
US$5,637.00 received toward our goal of US$150,000.00
